I'm new at my organization, and our IT says they can't do what I think probably can be done, so I'll try to explain the problem.

I have a real time producer application (in Azure) which pushes market price events to the Rabbit queue. Since the producer has some external dependency it might fail sometimes. When it happens the isAlive HTTP request will return false. In order to overcome such issue the IT suggested to operate producer in active-active mode, means to upload another producer which will produce together with the first.

The problem is how to handle the duplicate events, so the Rabbit will get each specific event only once (instead of getting the same event twice from each producer)?

Just to clarify, I don't expect to get a detailed solution, only to know what the right approach in such problem.
