American Society of Cinematographers é unha organización cultural, profesional e educativa estadounidense.


Non é un sindicato, senón unha asociación por convite que se estende ós directores de fotografía e especialistas efectos especiais con créditos de destaque na industria cinematográfica. Non todos os cineastas poden colocar a sigla ASC tras seus nomes. A adhesión a ASC converteuse nunha das maiores honras que pode ser concedida a un cineasta profesional, unha marca de prestixio e distinción. En 2018, a ASC tiña 373 membros activos.[1]
