I have few Windows Servers (2016/2019), say WS1, WS2 and WS3, where WS1 is domain master and rest are within the domain. Each of those run separate SQL Server instance (2017).
There are user accounts defined in the domain, say "domainJoe". "Joe" can log into any of those SQL Servers (via management studio - SSMS) from client computer that is in the domain.
I'd like to use same user account ("Joe" from domain) to access those SQL Servers, but without being in the domain.
Is that even possible? Would I need to set up separate login/pass (SQL Server Auth) for each SQL Server on each machine?
