I'm planning on using a Nexus 9300 switch as a HW-VTEP in an NSX environment. I understand the switch can be the gateway for VNIs with binding to an external VLAN.
My question is, is that gateway managed by vSphere? Can I configure OSPF peering to an external device via vSphere and an ESG, or do I configure routing on the switch itself? The documentation isn't very clear.
