กลไกการนำสารเข้าสู่เซลล์โดยใช้แคลทริน


การนำสารเข้าสู่เซลล์แบบใช้ตัวรับ (อังกฤษ: Receptor-mediated endocytosis;RME) หรือการนำสารเข้าสู่เซลล์โดยใช้แคลทริน (clathrin-dependent endocytosis) เป็นการนำสารเข้าสู่เซลล์โดยสารที่จะเข้าสู่เซลล์นั้นต้องจับกับตัวรับที่จำเพาะบนเยื่อหุ้มเซลล์ก่อน จากนั้นตัวรับที่จับสารแล้วจะเว้าเข้าไปในเซลล์แล้วหลุดเป็นกระเปาะหรือเวสิเคิลขนาดเล็กเข้าไปข้างในเซลล์ สารที่เข้าสู่เซลล์ด้วยวิธีนี้ได้แก่ ฮอร์โมน สารพิษ แอนติบอดี ไวรัส เป็นต้น


หลังจากที่สารจับกับตัวรับที่จำเพาะบนเยื่อหุ้มเซลล์ จะมีการส่งสัญญาณผ่านทางเยื่อหุ้มเซลล์ มีแคลทรินเข้ามาจับกับเยื่อหุ้มเซลล์ด้านในของตัวรับ ทำให้เกิดการม้วนของเยื่อหุ้มกลายเป็นเวสิเคิล จากนั้นแคลทรินจะหลุดออก เวสิเคิลแต่ละอันที่ไม่ถูกแคลทรินหุ้มจะรวมเข้าด้วยกันกลายเป็นเอนโดโซม เนื่องจากตัวรับเป็นการทำงานภายในร่วมกับมือจับ ระบบนี้จึงอิ่มตัวได้และการนำเข้าเซลล์จะลดลงจนกว่าตัวรับจะถูกนำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ที่เยื่อหุ้มอีกครั้ง
