I have several Linux system connected to SAN there is an activity performed at the storage where is storage server rebooted(StoreOnce) and after storage server comes up online all the server connected SAN automatically but only two servers in my environment unable to auto rediscover the SAN.

I have to rescan the SAN again. My question is that why host unable to auto rediscover the storage after the storage (StoreOnce ) rebooted.

Also seen error and warning messages

sd 0:0:4:3:Warning! Received an indication that the LUN assignments on this target have changed. The Linux SCSI layer does not automatically remap LUN assignments.

also seen multipath failing its usual because storage device rebooted

device-mapper: multipath: Failing path 129:176.

device-mapper: multipath: Failing path 128:48

ISCSI is configured in multipathing and it's a VM host.

Server => Suse 12
