We're running nginx (version 1.15.8) via Kubernetes Ingress and we see a lot of warnings such as *9882 a client request body is buffered to a temporary file /tmp/client-body/0000000001
It seems very suspicious since the requests being sent are few kb at most (we have that logged), but we increased the client_body_buffer_size up to 10MB, and we still see this error.
Our configuration (now) consists of:
client_max_body_size 10M
client_body_buffer_size 10M
And we're still getting those warning, meaning that something is definitely wrong!
I read that there's a bug on nginx, that writes requests without a Content-Length header to a temporary file (https://github.com/cloudendpoints/esp/issues/395), but all of our the requests that were sent to us are without this header and the warnings happen on a very small fraction of the requests.
I know it's not a critical bug, but I'd like to reduce disk IO as much as possible.
Any ideas?
