Antiga provincia de Yamato


Yamato (大和国, やまとのくに, Yamato-no-kuni ou 大和, やまと) foi unha provincia histórica do Xapón, nunha zona que hoxe forma a prefectura de Nara, historicamente na parte Kinai, actualmente na rexión de Kinki, na illa de Honshū.


Yamato limitaba coas provincias de Kawachi (河内), Yamashiro (山城), Iga (伊賀), Ise (伊勢) e Kii (紀伊).
