I was setting up a Ubuntu-Server (VM) to be a Virtual-Machine-Host for test purposes. As for that, I installed Virtual-Box similar to this guide: https://www.ostechnix.com/install-oracle-virtualbox-ubuntu-16-04-headless-server/.
I also created some machines in the command-line. To actually install the VMs I wanted to use phpvirtualbox which I set up. I also can access it via standard user:admin, password: admin.
But the already created VMs are not listed.
I created a /etc/default/virtualbox file and inserted the username which runs the vbox services. I also inserted the username and the password in /var/www/html/phpvirtualbox/config.php.
Basically all services of Vbox are running by this user.

But for some reason the iprt/Vbox... are running by root. And I cannot register VMs anymore with neither of the user (after installing phpvirtualbox and the credentials).

I'm not to sure were I went wrong, and how I can fix that. Therefore, help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Twinhand
