One line of code is causing me deep trouble. When I comment it out, I get a blank screen. When I use it, it redirects me to another site on another server. I need to connect this domain to test and use the site. Http only for now. I have tried if (HTTPS = 'on')$location http://blahblah
and multiple other methods I've seen in other articles.
I have definitely boiled down the problem to one line.

# listen 443 ssl http2;

root /home/sites/example.com/public_html;
index index.php index.html index.htm;
# ssl on;
# ssl_certificate /etc/nginx/conf.d/ssl/example.com/bundler417f.crt;

fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $request_filename;
fastcgi_param HTTPS off;
include fastcgi_params;
fastcgi_read_timeout 180;
include global/restrictions.conf;
include global/wordpress.conf;
The ssl lines are commented out. Even if they weren't, the location doesn't contain ssl for the site I'm being redirected to for sure. The line is fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $request_filename;
that ends up causing this. Without it, blank. With it, redirected and trying to use a non-relevant certificate. Help me please! Is there any way I can directly define it to stay as http? Or find out why this other cert is connected?

I did afind . -name *.crt
in the public directory. It did not find any related certificates to the site I am being redirected to. If it's a wordpress problem, which I don't necessarily doubt, why does commenting outfastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $request_filename;
prevent the redirect but then take me to a blank screen?

Also if you are going to flag my question as a duplicate, at least be sure. Not only does it not answer my question, but that post is also not related to what I asked. Those lines were already in my wp-config file and I defined them correctly.

The information you provided points to WordPress causing the redirect. You need to look there first, and rule it out.
