San Roque de Carzoá é unha aldea do concello de Cualedro, pertencente á parroquia de Montes. O topónimo parece derivar do radical pre-celta Kartiola, que quer dicir elevación do terreo ou outeiro, forma do terreo que, coroada por un castro que máis adiante foi invadido polos muros dunha torre medieval, preside a paisaxe dende mesmo as costas da aldea.[Cómpre referencia] Segundo o IGE en 2011 tiña 62 habitantes (29 homes e 33 mulleres).
