My team is working on IIS 7.5 running on Windows Server 2008 R2. We have multiple web servers behind a load balancer. The IIS bindings on each web server say to only talk to the outside world if our FQDN is passed to them. We have a "warm up" script that goes through our site and pre-loads everything so that the servers aren't sluggish on the first load. Is there a way to pre-load the servers without changing the IIS bindings?

Unless your IIS servers restrict incoming requests from a certain IP address, your script (usually PowerShell) can simulate the exact requests generated by the load balancer, like stackoverflow.com/questions/19937379/…
