Mercury Rising é un filme estadounidense dirixido por Harold Becker que foi estreado en 1998. Está protagonizado por Bruce Willis e Alec Baldwin. O argumento está baseado nunha novela de Ryne Douglas Pearson titulada Simple Simon. Willis interpreta a Art Jeffries, un axente do FBI agent que protexe un neno de nove anos con autismo que é perseguido por asasinos do goberno por ter descifrado un código secreto.

Argumento |


Art Jeffries é un axente do FBI bastante insolente cos seus superiores, razón pola cal lle asignan as escoitas telefónicas. Un día, encárganlle a investigación do caso dun neno desaparecido, cuxos pais foron asasinados. Cando o atopa, resulta ser un autista de nove anos que ten unha prodixiosa capacidade para interpretar códigos do goberno teóricamente indescifrables.
