A tempada 1935/36 da Primeira división española foi a oitava edición do torneo. Celebrouse entre o 10 de novembro de 1935 e o 19 de abril de 1936.


O Athletic Club conquistou o seu cuarto título de liga.


Tomaron parte na competición doce clubs, ningún deles galegos. Nesta tempada debutaron o Hércules CF e o CA Osasuna. Tras esta edición, a competición viuse interrompida durante tres anos por mor da Guerra civil española.

  1. O descenso do Athletic Club de Madrid non chegou a facerse efectivo, xa que ao retormarse o campionato a tempada 1939/40 o conxunto madrileño foi repescado para substituír o Oviedo FC, que non puido participar ao non dispor de campo de xogo como consecuencia da Guerra Civil.

O Celta de Vigo ascende a Primeira División tras resultar campión de Segunda División, xunto co Real Zaragoza, que foi subcampión.
