I have a 2016 VM Azure server with several mapped drives. On my network, it randomly will disconect users from accessing these drives stating "Unable to connect to network drive"

The temporary patch that I found is to just change the IP settings, and they automatically reconnect and everything is fine... until it comes back.

I have analyzed my DNS settings and DHCP settings and I do not see any major issues with these configurations that might be causing it.

I have made sure that the GPO is set to recreate the mapped drives, and I have even went as far as trying to configure a GP that runs a "release/renew" script, but that unfortunately failed miserably and doesn't work.

I am not new to servers, HOWEVER I am very new to Azure. As far as I know, my client does not use storage containers, the mapped drives were probably just directly migrated from a local server to Azure.

Any ideas, tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
